Lisa M. Gouveia, a founding Partner of Scolnick Laverty & Gouveia LLP, has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 2003. She worked as a law clerk specializing in the area of landlord/tenant law prior to becoming a member of the bar. Since that time, she has represented several national, regional and local real estate companies and individual property owners in all housing courts, district courts and superior courts in Massachusetts. She has represented numerous clients in matters involving the Boston Fair Housing Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. She has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, and is an experienced litigator. She frequently conducts seminars for national, regional, and local real estate management companies as well as property owners to discuss and advise them on specifics topics in landlord/tenant law.
